What is Salvation & how does someone become a Christian?
All a person needs to do is speak out loud that you understand that you want to make a change in your life. God takes our broken inside and outside and gives us new ways to heal, cope, grow, thrive in spite of great difficulty. You are not alone ever he is there. Jesus is God’s only Son. God sent him to earth so he could be connected in a real “lived experience”. Jesus died after living for 33 years without sin. How did he do that? Prayer, fasting, and doing everything every day God said to do.
Jesus died on a cross for every person ever to live. It was the most gruesome way for a person to be tortured but he did it because he LOVES YOU. He also knows that God’s plans are also good.
Jesus was dead for 3 days. He was down in hell showing satan, a fallen angel setting him straight that Jesus is the only son of God and that Satan has is below Jesus in power and authority. Essentially he defrocked him. Took back the keys to the kingdom. Satan thought he won when Jesus died on earth on the cross. After those 3 days Jesus blew a grave stone off his tomb and showed people who knew him that he was alive, raised from the dead. I encourage you to believe in the one true Son of God almighty Jesus.
God is the creator of the universe is God, Yahweh, Jehovah, Elohim plural supreme majesty, El Shaddai is God almighty, El Elyon the most high God, supreme ruler of heaven and earth )Genesis 14 verse 19. A small g-o-d. are all the other demons of things which we make more important than Creator God.
Prayer is just talking to God. So have a conversation everyday invite him into the mess of your now and ask him to show you a better way. Pray for a God’s best friendships to grow you in this new season of life. They might be unconventional. Be ok with that too. Just keep seeking and read the bible. So if you want to end this negative chapter you have going and try to begin a new story, a new chapter of life with Jesus as your pilot; try this prayer.
“Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned against You.
I turn from my sin right now.
I believe that You died on the cross for my sins (bad choices). I believe you came alive again and forgive me ALL my sins. That you remember them never again. Teach me to not bring them up again.
I give you permission to lead me as the Lord and Master of my life. I curse all the trauma & drama all the way back to the garden of Eden and ask you to teach me your ways every day for eternity. Lord transform & heal my life from the inside out. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
Jesus was born into a master contractor’s family. His step-dad here on earth was Joseph. Jesus mom was Mary, who never had sex. God made her pregnant with Jesus. At 12 yrs old Jesus went to the temple learned and spoke with authority as God instructed him. At 30 years old the age in hebrew culture a person was considered mature. This is when Jesus began his ministry. The fast forward version is Jesus is he then gathered 12 ordinary men to teach them what God wants us to do here on earth.
The message from God, Jesus life story and purpose is compiled into the Bible. Start with the version NLT it is easy to understand. Jesus was betrayed by one of his disciples Judas who handled the money bag. Just so you know, money and computers are just tools and Jesus was not poor. He lived simply to teach us that anyone can become a Christian, a follower of Christ. Most people are messed up that is why he came so keep seeking to live like Jesus taught us to. The fruits of the spirit are Bible gateway “Galatians chapter 5 verse 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” The law for jews is the first 5 books of the bible. The law is also the 10 commandments. See Exodus 20. As humans we mess up, we sin so we need to keep asking for Jesus, God’s son to forgive us sincerely. We pray to Jesus to give us others who will grow us like anything in life to prevent sin, prevent hatred, evil. We also need to find healing for the bigs
When Jesus was born, wise men from the east, educated astronomers of that day representing that kingdom gave Jesus’ family gold, frankincense and myrrh. This was more that 3 men. Moving gold has always been risky business he came with those wise men & body guards. All were the best of science, following a super star which they had been tracking in the sky for over a year maybe 3 so jesus was not a baby. Thus that star was Not a comet.
Fast forward of who is Jesus? Jesus is alive new and can and could do miracles, real healing of lame, deaf, blind, seizure disorders, bleeding disorders, those with demons, addictions, lust the hard stuff. As a therapist I want people to know that no matter how hard we try we need Jesus, a modern day hero who can do anything. Healing is complex there are several factors when you think about it. There is the sin of not forgiving yourself, others and healing the past which wants to repeat itself. Like generational curses, vows we make over ourselves. Notice these patterns of negativity. And there are healings which occur now around the globe.
I believe in modern day miracles. I do not find it helpful for people to blame themselves or God for not getting healed. Satan wants us to fail. God wants us to succeed. My prayer is that all people will come to find what God is calling them to in their life. It is a battle ground of good vs evil. I say never give up. Keep speaking (Philippians 4 verse 13 “I can do all things through HIM, (Jesus) who gives me strengthens me.”) and reading out loud the bible. God wants to brag about you. Did you ever think about it that way? Yup. And when he says he forgives sins they go into the sea of forgetfulness. I love that thought. Yes we mess up because we are human. Just think reboot. Ask God to help you find new ways to heal you!.
